Why a Contract Rather Than Booking Ad-Hoc

The case for a contract is not that the cleaning is better. It is the same process either way. The case is about what happens in the eleven months when nobody is thinking about water tanks.

Nothing gets forgotten. Scheduled work happens whether or not somebody remembers to raise it. Ad-hoc cleaning depends on a person noticing that time has passed, and that person is usually managing a great many other things.

• Capacity and type — rooftop, underground, GRP, concrete or stainless steel each behave differently and need different handling
• Access — hatch size, plant room routes and whether our equipment can physically reach the tank
• Water usage and occupancy — a 200-unit tower turns its water over very differently from a villa closed for part of the year
• Property type — food premises, hospitality, residential and commercial each require different documentation
• Tank condition at first clean — heavy sediment on the first visit may justify a shorter interval than the baseline
• Your scheduling constraints — out-of-hours windows, low-occupancy periods, and other maintenance already in the calendar
