Professional rats & mice removal and proofing across UAE
Rats and mice are a serious pest problem across Dubai's residential and commercial sectors. Both species belong to the rodent group and share the characteristic of constantly growing incisor teeth — meaning they must gnaw continuously, causing damage to wiring, pipes, insulation and structural materials. They are colour blind but have an acute sense of smell, hearing and touch.
The Common Brown Rat (Norway Rat) is nervous of new objects — known as neophobia. They live under buildings, in refuse areas, in hotels and in sewers. Their lifespan is between 9–18 months and they can produce up to 7 litters of 8–10 offspring. Brown rats are approximately 335g in weight with a bulky body, small hairy ears and blunt nose. They will burrow and can live outdoors, indoors or in sewers.
The Black (Roof) Rat is a non-burrowing species that nests mainly in walls, vines and trees. They are slightly smaller at around 200g and more agile climbers than brown rats. In Dubai, roof rats are commonly found in older districts, warehouses and food storage areas.
Unlike rats, mice are very inquisitive about new objects. They can climb and are erratic in habit. They have a lifespan of 9–12 months and can produce up to 5–6 offspring per year. The House Mouse is approximately 15g in weight and 60–90mm in length. They can survive with very little water and will nibble rather than consume large amounts of food.
Rodents are known carriers of Salmonella, Leptospirosis (Weil's Disease), Hantavirus and other serious diseases. They contaminate food, damage property by gnawing through electrical cables (a serious fire risk), and their droppings and urine create significant health hazards in food preparation areas.
Full property survey to identify species, entry points, runways, nesting sites and extent of infestation.
Strategic placement of tamper-resistant bait stations with approved rodenticide in safe, targeted locations.
Where baiting is not suitable (food preparation areas), mechanical traps are deployed and checked regularly.
Identification and sealing of entry points — gaps in walls, pipework, doors and vents — to prevent re-infestation.
Regular inspection visits under our AMC plan to monitor bait stations and confirm ongoing control.
Rodent control in Dubai starts from AED 200 for a standard apartment or villa inspection and treatment with Quick Pest Control LLC. Commercial and warehouse rodent programmes are priced based on property size. We beat any genuine quotation.
Acute rodent infestations show significant reduction within 7–10 days of professional treatment. Full elimination typically takes 2–4 weeks depending on infestation severity. We use tamper-resistant bait stations and block entry points to prevent re-entry.
We use tamper-resistant, lockable bait stations that prevent children and pets from accessing rodenticide. Stations are placed in areas inaccessible to non-target animals. We advise on placement and monitor stations on follow-up visits.
Rats enter through gaps around pipe penetrations in kitchen and bathroom walls (often as small as 20mm), damaged drain covers, gaps under doors, and via shared duct systems in apartment buildings. After treatment, we identify and recommend sealing all entry points.
Yes. As part of our rodent control service, we identify all potential entry points and can apply exclusion materials — including wire mesh, expanding foam and door sweeps — to prevent re-entry. Rodent-proofing is the most effective long-term solution.
Transparent pricing — all treatments include bait stations, traps, entry-point survey and free follow-up.
